As well as difficulty with movement people with Parkinson’s can also suffer from troubling visual symptoms such as problems judging distances and even hallucinations. These effects are not well documented or understood and there are currently no useful treatments. We’re aiming to change that with this study.
This study is open to everyone, whether or not you have Parkinson's. The more people who take part, the more effective our research can be. By taking part you are playing an important role in furthering our understanding of Parkinson's.
Take PartBy analysing a wide range of people with Parkinson's we hope to shed light on the different ways this condition affects people.
Through greater understanding of how vision can change, we can identify ways to improve the daily lives of people with Parkinson’s.
Ultimately we hope to improve these visual symptoms. We hope that our insights will enable people with Parkinson’s to take greater control of their lives.
