Participant confidentiality and data protection is of the highest importance to us. Our database meets ISO 27001, the international standard for data security and handling. Our website is encrypted to avoid external agents being able to access information on it. All data is transferred in an encrypted form to prevent attack from outside agencies. All identifiable data is stored behind password protection and is separated for all other responses, including during transfer. Your responses are coded with a study code number and all analyses are carried out on anonymous data only. We will not pass on your details or information to third parties. It will not be possible to identify any individual from the final analysed results. After the study is finished, the information will be kept for 5 years in an anonymous format.
Our study has been approved by the Queen Square Research Ethics Committee, reference: 15/LO/0476, date 10th June 2015.
